Carter is a seasoned strategic and operational finance professional with a career spanning over 25 years, and experience across operational finance, company analysis, capital raising, and deal structuring.

Carter recently served as CFO of Tristrux, where he partnered with the founder to achieve an impressive 5x return within a span of 5 years. As the CFO of Tristrux, Carter led the acquisition and expansion strategy, raised capital, and built the operating platform to transform the company into a national telecommunications construction services company. He subsequently led the successful sale of Tristrux to a major private equity firm.

Carter combines deep operating finance and company building expertise with strong strategic finance and company analysis skills developed through his experiences as a founding partner and head of research for Inox Capital, a hedge fund, and investment banker in leveraged finance and M&A advisory and client coverage at ABN-Amro, Solomon Smith Barney (now Citigroup), and Bear Stearns.

Carter knows how to partner with operating executives to manage the challenges of building and growing a company. Carter has a BA from Colgate University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Carter lives in Westport, CT with his wife and three kids.
